If Only

If you could only see me from the inside out...running in a field of flowers amid the morning dew...Supping white wine inside my thoughts...if only

THE JOURNEY

The journey is filled with twists and turns. Few keys unlock doors that mirror the stranger inside this reflection. Purple represents the crosswalk between yesterday and today. Detailed perceptions flee from the corridors of my memory leaving only that which I allow to enter.

Happy to see your Blog, Sandy! You know, my favorite colour is purple or rather mauve, as we call it here. In the mountains, I have seen so many little flowers,mauve/purple/violet coloured. In the high grasslands of Kerala, we have a flower called Kurinji, which blossoms once in 12 years, changing the entire landscape with a purple carpet...

What are we really seeking, if at all seeking, through our writing? If there is an objective, it is to understand ourselves better. Nothing else matters. The locked rooms in our minds can be opened only by ourselves; at the end of the corridor, let the last door open to the vast skies, where we will stand blessed and in bliss with the total knowledge of who we are...

I love the color purple too. It is a good choice for twilight.
Very interesting.

Congratulations Sandy, and welcome to the world of blogging!! I love what you've written here so much that I signed up to be notified when you next write. Btw, not sure if I ever told you that although blue is my actual favorite color I also consider purple one of my favorites. Looking forward to reading your next entry on here and your next book "ON CALL!"

Is purple really mauve in India??? You know it is my favorite color also..Your life certainly has been a journey of twists and turns..I am so glad that you have reached within and found this talent that you have. I think it allows you to stay where you want to be at whatever time you would like..I am glad that I have been able to share some of your journey with you..good and bad..there will never be another bond like you and I have had for so many years. You must continue to write as long as you can .. something so beautiful should not be taken away from us all ...Ashyea

I think, according to Balan from India, they call it mauve.

I love the fact that I can reach in and open a door to places of enchantment. Not all are fantasy but one that reads may not know where I come from in any write..
